DIY Fashion/Makeup Shoot

Totally forgot about this photoshoot I did for my wifey Laura. She is a dope makeup artist and did some experiments….This one was urban/retro. We used mac and sephora makeup up. My old apartment and a reg camera...the key is to use photo editing to help make the pictures look more artistic. One I use often is picnik.com Great tool and very easy to use (for the photoshop challenged)

Do we like?

DIY: Fringe Tank Top

www.seventeen.com/fashion/blog/DIY-FYI-Fringe-Tank
Fashion intern Mary Margaret @ Seventeen Magazine DIYs a latest trend!

Here's what you'll need to create this fringed and studded tank:

1. Tank top, Forever 21 for $9.Fringe Tank

2. Two yards of fringe, Hancock Fabrics about $6

3. A pack of 50 pyramid studs, studsandspikes.com, $4

4. Scissors

5. Small pliers

Sewing supplies

1. Sewing needles at Joann Fabric and Craft store, $3

2. Thread that matches the color of the fringe, $2 - $6.

FRINGED AND STUDDED TANK STEPS

Step 1. Lay the fringe along the neckline of the tank top and hand stitch the fringe to the tank, trim at end.

Step 2. Repeat 2 more times starting about an inch under the first layer. You will get a layered effect by doing this.

Step 3. Apply pyramid studs to neckline right over top layer of fringe. To apply the stud, push the pointy bottom part of the stud through the fabric and fold in with plyers.

Done!
