This weekend was just perfect. Great weather, great company and great shopping! On Saturday afternoon I participated in Shopcrawl414 hosted by Miss Kitty Bradshaw where we indulged in thrift, vintage and antique jewels clothes and furniture. My next post will go into details about the shop crawl itself but I had to post about my DIY project first So in my previous post I snagged some beautiful gold wired material Film Biz Recycling. I was going to make a necklace last night until I saw this commercial with a woman who had a cute headband and short wavy hair. Immediately the phrase “weeeeeerrq betch” came out my mouth and turned to my gold material and began going to work! Here is my step by step on the my lovely DIY headpiece:
1- Cut the fold to about 3 inch thick and scrunched up the ends
2- Cut off all the gold leaves (or else I would look like I was from the Garden of Eden)
3- Add a hair tie to the back for elasticity
and Voila! Gold headband reaaaalnesssss! Woop Woop!
